Full credit to the young who this, a totally vegan menu and excellent vegan huh as a meat substitute. best meat substitute I have tasted in every restaurant in 25 years meat free. I lived in birmingham, where there were 250 plus indians, and that is as good as anyone with regard to the taste of the sauce. also not oily. had whicken dhansak for porn that was delicious and whicken tikka for beginners. the bonus is to bring its own snaps when it lust on a drink, from license simply around the corner. would give a 5-star, but as meat options are available, the app is limited to 4 stars.
I was with the balti king twice. once in a normal night and once for their monthly vegan nights. the vegan afternoon was absolutely amazing and included various appetizers, curries, sides and vegan naan brote! also the dessert was amazing vermicelli with toffe sauce, plantain and ice cream really delicious! I can't wait for the next vegan night!
This review is for 2 separate visits. Visited July 4th 2022, the food was incredible, thrououghly enjoyed my meal which started with poppadoms, the yogurt and mint dip, just amazing, followed by a meat filled bread (the name escapes me) and finished with Korma as a main. I don't do spice very well so the Korma was a little hot however, nothing was taken away from the passion put into each dish. Great place to eat, just ignore the dated furniture. Visited again July 6th 2022, once again the food was absolutely fantastic. The waiter once again, super friendly and helpful happy to recommend options and this time I went with them, started with chicken wings an amazing flavour without the heat/hotness of the spices used, an excellent feat. Followed by Biriyani with egg mixed in with a cheese naan and a sweet chapati on the side. All of it was amazing though the chicken in the biriyani was a little spicey for me the taste was still just incredible, hard to stop eating its that good. Vegetarian options: Huge array of vegetarian options, they offer plant based alternatives for most menu items. Dietary restrictions: The staff were extremely helpful and did anything they could to ensure you could enjoy your meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
