Tacos Lupita - Gloucester

Our group placed multiple orders during a meeting. This doesn’t reflect the portion sizes, which were quite large; rather, we were all hungry, and the prices felt almost like a steal. You definitely get a lot of food for your money. We tried the incredible burritos and chimichangas, all of which were very filling. The pupusas and tacos were good, but I wished there were more options. The tortillas they use are delicious. Be sure to try one of the Tropique drinks from the fridge; the guanábana was sweet and slightly thick. I give it an 8 out of 10.

I ordered the combination plate, and I think the service could use some improvement.

My wife, our one-year-old, and I were looking for a place for lunch when we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. It turned out to be a wonderful discovery! The staff were extremely friendly, and the place was clean, with high chairs available for young children. The food was delicious—fresh and flavorful. Overall, it was a fantastic find, a little hidden gem. The only downside was that they didn't have well drinks.

Tacos are authentic. Carnitas is crispy and delicate. Central American flair in a Tex Mex restaurant. Good food, reasonable prices. Whole beans about refritos and rice is yellow. Black beans or pinto. Overall, it is a great option for this area. Not exactly mexican, but still delicious.

I have lived in Austin, TX for 12 years. I have not found any Mexican Tex-Mex better than this. All the right flavors and textures. Friendly staff and reasonable pricing. What is there not to like?
