During my visit, I also checked out the sports club adjacent to the pool, which features an indoor mineral whirlpool, an eucalyptus steam shower, and a wood sauna. The staff kindly upgraded my admission to the pool for just $18 instead of the full price after I explained the misinformation I received about the new pool’s temperature.
This place also has a really nice gym and two racquetball courts, and the lockers h... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Glenwood Hot Springs Pool:
The place wasn’t as busy as it was last year, and there's no music playing in the background. Some tunes would make the pool experience much better. The room rates are exorbitant—$500 a night! I thought I was looking at Versace’s house in Miami. Nothing has changed except the prices.
On the brighter side, Hotel Colorado is fantastic! It's a great place to stay, and so is Hotel Denver. Both are historical and defini... View all feedback.
Wow! the water was so warm and clean. the smell of sulfur was strong, but it is easy to look past as soon as they soak into the hot mineral water. the therapy pool was closed, but we had a great time to explore the other pools! I would recommend to everyone to spend only a day relaxing in the sources!
Went to glenwood springs for birthday in januar. young one was freezing! but the hot springs made everything worth it. two pools: the bigger one is a bit cooler, at 99 degrees I think, while the smaller one is much hotter, only 15-20 minutes recommended. make sure they bring plenty of water and drink, I almost went out because they are quickly hot and dehydrated, but do not want to leave the comfort and warmth of the pools. make sure they bring flip-flops or sandals for the dressing rooms and a quick move. the water in the grill restaurant is spectacular, it contains many useful minerals. also make sure to visit the gift shop! I was impressed by the selection and the trips. a must.
Visiting the world's largest hot springs pool was so fun. We went on a Friday and it was not overly busy, which made it even more enjoyable. If you have an extra 90.00 rent a cabana. The chairs are more comfortable, covered and relaxing. Overall, the experience was really enjoyable and i would recommend it to anyone coming to the Glenwood Springs area.
What a great place to spend a day! the large pool was just the right temperature to swim. the hot pool was great for relaxation. my children loved the diving board and we all had fun on the shoshone chutes tube ride. we spluged and got a cabana for a part of the day and it was totally worth:
Great place to visit! Pool was awesome! Felt like a nice vacation being in the 104° waters! Pool was clean, staff was friendly, other visitors were friendly as well just enjoying the natural hot springs. Felt rejuvenating!! We want to go back when the therapy pool is finished! Plenty of seating for everyone and showers were clean and bathrooms were well kept. Kids enjoyed the lazy river and tubing. Overall a great time! The food wasn't that bad. A little pricey but the double cheeseburger was made fresh and was juicy. The ice cream was huge!
