Slope Hatch - Glenwood Springs

One order is definitely enough! I ordered two orders of tacos thinking it might not fill me up but I was so very wrong haha I got the beef garlic and jerk chicken tacos, they were GREAAATTT! The best I’ve had in glenwood springs. Ive tried a couple more tacos and they werent really my fave. They have indoor and outdoor seating, they’re close to the river so the view was nice.

Sadly, this place isn't on the main drag of Glenwood. It needs more exposure! We had tacos al pastor, shrimp po' boy, and cajun fries. All three were phenomenal, and portions were generous, especially the cajun fries. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Try the 4 Noses Camp Crusher wheat ale while there. Very refreshing and a great beer to have with a meal.

Great service and very friendly staff. The food unfortunately is lacking. The barbacoa taco reminded me of sloppy Joe and the shrimp tacos were cold, soupy, and salty. Both over stuffed with slaw, maybe we got the wrong tacos.

Maybe we picked bad, but my wife and I were both unimpressed with the food. Atmosphere was divey and high energy which you would need to be in the mood for. It would go a long way to upgrade the actual hot dogs you are using, they were hard and snappy. I got slim Jim vibes from them. Pulled pork on it was awesome though!
