We strolled over to Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company from the Hotel Colorado. I had already had a huge lunch in Aspen and did not want a big dinner. I munched on my daughter’s fries which we had with malt vinegar, my husband’s Nachos, and a friend had their buffalo burger. Fries were great, clean grease after 8 pm, the nachos were okay, rather dry, and we were told the Buffalo Burger was REALLY good. We all shared the... View all feedback.
My husband and I dine out an average of 3 times a week and our experience at the Brewpub is the worst one we have ever had. We waited for 30 minutes for a table. 2 parties of 2 people ahead of us. Ok, it is a Sat. night. We arrived about 7:45 pm. Once seated we ordered 4 samplers and we each ordered a cup of beer cheese soup. We waited 30 for the soup -it was luke warm, but the pretzel was good. After another 40 minute wait and seeing that tables were being served that were seated and ordered long after us, I went to the front and ask about our food. The young lady seemed annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with another employee was quite snippy when I inquired about our dinner orders. After a few minutes, our waiter came over and said the kitchen had lost our ticket. Our food arrived and I cut into the Pattie melt that was raw to rare. They took it back to the kitchen for a few mintues and sent it back out on the same bread, cheese and onions –it was beyond gross. And the onion rings were cold and nothing by greasy mush. My husband’s dinner was just about the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. It looked like a can of vegetable soup on top of mashed potatoes. The waiter took off 2 of the samplers and 20% of the bill. I pointed out that my meal was still uncooked -he shrugged his shoulders and said “I know”. We were at Brewpub for 2 hours and left hungry and disgusted. My worst meal at a fast food restaurant was better than place. Some places get another chance – it won’t be this one!

Really! My husband and daughter each had the beer sampler, and said the beer was great. The brewed Root Beer was darn good. Sports bar atmosphere and very friendly
I eat here all of them and like it a lot!
