I visited Valley Lodge yesterday for fried clams with my sister. Unfortunately, they no longer have them on the menu. When we arrived, my sister spoke with the owner and shared that our dad used to take us there when we were kids in the 70s. The food here is absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the soups, salads, and main courses. The skirt steak paired with the cream of rice soup was truly the highlight of the meal.
It was a really cool place. The food was fantastic. I enjoyed their salad along with one of their red wines. The servers were attentive and helpful. The semi-outdoor seating was enjoyable, and I also spent some time at the bar, where the service was excellent as well.
Be sure to sit on the porch—it’s truly an amazing experience!
