Potbelly - Glenview

I have been dining at Potbelly since I was a child at the original location in Lincoln Park, Chicago. My family and I stopped in on Saturday at 2 o'clock for a late lunch. The place was not crowded, and the service at the counter was decent. The young lady working there did a good job making our sandwiches. However, when we sat down at a table to eat, we noticed that every table was dirty. I expect tables to be clean, but unfortunately, none of them were.

I arrived at the restaurant in the morning when they were open to pick up breakfast for school. I felt rushed when placing my order, even though I was the only customer present. No customer should be hurried, especially when the restaurant is not busy!

The food was good, but the woman working at the front desk was rude and not very pleasant. I even thought she was sweaty, but it turned out to be too much. The same experience happened to the person behind me as well.

I just ordered a vanilla shake with a ham smoke sandwich. the cup was so dirty on the top inside and not even full. it was like 3/4 full. I threw them in the müll. I'll upload a photo so that people you can see. that is disgusting?! I don't know what's wrong with people. we are in the midst of covid; and men find one away to be messy and careless!

Food as expected for a Potbelly so no complaint on that score. Went in Friday afternoon about 1pm. Two thirds, or about 9 or 10 tables were open and every single one of them was filthy, sticky, crumbs on tables and chairs and no one bussing the whole time I was there for lunch. Two young ladies working alone behind the counter, nice but not up to the usual Potbelly standards. I won't be returning.
