One of the best sushi places around! Great options and unique pairings that I haven’t seen elsewhere. I love that this isn’t a chain and your supporting a local business. Yes it’s pricey but you’re getting high quality fish which, I would think, most people would want. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t. View all feedback.
This place has the best shrimp tempura in Chicago Land. Authentic Japanese overall.
This is one of the best sushi restaurants in the area! They offer a variety of options and unique combinations that you won’t find anywhere else. I really appreciate that it’s not a chain, so you’re supporting a local business. While it can be a bit expensive, the quality of the fish is excellent, which I believe most people desire. If you haven't tried this place yet, be sure to check it out!
The sushi here is outstanding, and the dining area is lovely and spotless. The service for takeout is prompt as well. I will definitely be returning!
We don’t get the chance to visit for lunch very often, but when we do, it's consistently excellent. They offer some fantastic lunch deals, and the full menu is accessible as well. The service is always top-notch, with Nobori often on hand to take care of you. It's clear that he genuinely cares about his business and is committed to its success. In the suburbs, this is a wonderful spot for both lunch and dinner, and I highly recommend it!
What really sets this restaurant apart from others are the following aspects: - The clean taste of the fish - The spices and additional flavors are perfectly balanced, not overpowering - The rice—oh, the rice! - The simplicity and beauty of the rolls - The overall atmosphere and attentive service My fiancé and I sat down and, I have to admit, I was a bit overwhelmed when I first opened the menu because there are so many entrees and appetizers. However, the sushi section is clear and concise, with something for every sushi lover. And don’t forget to check the back page of the menu! That’s where I found the yellowtail and spring onion roll, which was probably my favorite of the four! If you’re ever in the area, I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved this place. It transported me back to my best sushi experiences in Boston and Japan, which is truly saying something.
