Nestled in a Glenview Asian plaza, this sushi-forward spot offers fresh, high-quality fish, generous portions and a broad menu from nigiri to ramen and inventive rolls—often well-priced compared with peers. Standout appetizers and quick service elevate casual dinners and family outings, and free parking is plentiful. Areas for improvement include inconsistent table service, occasional takeout packaging problems, cleanliness and pest control, and some pricey or uneven menu items—ask for sauces on the side and inspect takeout before leaving.

Was Kylie K at Mozu a mag?
Food was pretty good, they did not have any fresh fish when I visited but overall it was good. I sometimes think that fries shrimp vegetable dish is over priced as it is just put some batter and fry, like random pieces of vegi and one shrimp and charge customers. Well, I dont know, I would not go back to dine in anytime soon as foods were not that memorable, but maybe next year. When they got toro. View all feedback.
What Kate dislikes about Mozu:
I ordered pork cutlet, but the sauce was too sweet, so I couldn't eat it all. My co-worker also had to eat half of it. If you have to eat this menu, it's best to ask for the sauce separately. And this restaurant didn't ask about we had vaccines. They didn't even ask the other guests who came in behind us. I felt uncomfortable that they didn't ask anything about vaccines. When will you be reopening? You've been closed for over three months! Food rating: 5/5.
The food was decent. My youngest child enjoyed his "big mama" dish, but he doesn't eat Japanese food often. It was a bit pricey, particularly for the veggie roll Maki. They also charge extra for sauces and $2.50 for a can of Coke. I understand they need to increase prices to stay profitable, but they really need to focus on cleanliness; that was a big turnoff for me. If your restaurant has a dark decor, it needs to be cleaned regularly, including the mirrors in the main room and the bathrooms. Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. The staff was friendly, but they could benefit from having a better knowledge of the menu.
The food was fantastic! I highly recommend trying the appetizers; the Agedashi Tempura Calamari was perfectly fried and came loaded with vegetables. While some may prefer more meat, I enjoyed the balance that the veggies provided. The seafood udon was a generous portion and simply delicious. The ramen was also impressive, and I particularly recommend the Miso Ramen. Mozu is situated in an Asian plaza filled with various dining options, but I truly believe this restaurant stands out as a must-visit.
Decent sushi place, but not special, we weren't impressed. Liked Miso soup, seaweed salad was fresh. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
