It featured a jerk-style spice rub that gave it a delightful kick, with just a trace of heat that pleasantly surprised me. As for the beef brisket, which is usually my favorite, it was decent but not remarkable. It had a nice bark and was tender, but it didn't stand out compared to other places I've tried. The beans were reminiscent of my mother's brown sugar beans, which I enjoy with a little ketchup and a dash of vinegar. These beans were not overly sweet, although I would have preferred a touch more brown sugar; still, they were better than what I've had at most other restaurants. I'm not usually a fan of mac and cheese unless it’s truly exceptional, but here, the mac and cheese was surprisingly good—possibly my favorite dish of the visit. It could benefit from a bit more cheese and maybe some panko topping for added texture. Overall, I highly recommend the pulled pork—I would return just for that alone. Next time, I might also try the bacon and pulled pork tacos, which sound enticing!

I ordered the Pulled Pork plate with baked beans and mac and cheese, and everything was fantastic! The portions were large, the service was quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and the homemade snacks. I also tried the crumb cake, which was delightful. I'll definitely be back!

They have an amazing flavor, perfect consistency, and are cooked to perfection. If I could give them six stars, I definitely would. Thank you for the fantastic meal!
