This restaurant is great for vegans. They offer options like vegan cheese, sour cream, and side dishes. They also have vegan desserts and cactus fries. It's a wonderful place to dine out, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
I absolutely adore Pinto! They offer a wide variety of vegan options, including vegan tamales! I have been craving a tasty tamale for so long, and the vegan version at Pinto exceeded my expectations. The flavors were spot on, which I really appreciated. I also tried the wings, which were absolutely delicious.
I recently had the best meal in a long time at this restaurant. I loved the Virgin Margaritas, amazing nachos, and perfect vegan wings in BBQ and sweet chili flavors. You can even take your leftovers home. They have many vegetarian options on their menu and can make certain items vegan upon request. I highly recommend this place, especially for those participating in Veganuary.
To be honest, the nachos, which are supposed to be their specialty, are terrible. They put way too many toppings on them, making the chips soggy and practically inedible. I've ordered them three times now, and it's always the same. Sometimes, less is more, and a simpler approach would make them so much better. I've had better nachos at Taco Bell.
NOT CHO SPOT!Garbage. Got to the restaurant and the couple that arrived after our family of five got there, were served drinks first and got their food before we were even able to put a drink order in. Cans of soda should've been easy to serve from the simple glass faced small refrigerator on the counter. Had to ask for our salsa and chips appetizer to be served about 15 minutes after ordering. Shrimp tacos stunk like a fish market. The super high nacho platter was full of disgusting meat and the pork was full of fat slabs. Bland tasting food. Seating was like sitting in a small pizzeria with a few tables with people waiting to get their orders. This place was over rated and recommended by a local socialite friend of ours who thinks she's hip makes sense as this is a hipster type place that won't last. Our dogs, however, did feast on the garbage we didn't eat. Think of a well known hoagie place as having quality food and meat, but then you can walk into a bodega in West Philly and get a $3 sandwich piled high with fatty processed meat. I'd rather the quality.Hands down, this place is NOT CHO SPOT! Thanks for the dog food.
