The food was delicious, with perfectly textured meat that wasn’t dry at all. The service was excellent, with many friendly staff members and a quick kitchen. I highly recommend Mac Carthy’s if you’re in Glengariff looking for a meal or just a drink.
Mac Carthy's has recently reopened. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. When we couldn’t find a taxi or Uber, the waiter kindly gave us a ride home.
Mac Carthy's is a smoothly operated bar with plenty of staff on hand. It wasn’t too crowded, creating a calm and laid-back vibe. I noticed others sipping cocktails and pints, and I decided to try the iced coffee—it was really good. Even though I didn’t eat anything because it was late, it definitely seemed like the type of pub I’d like.
