Best kabob in the area. Had Saltani. This is a combination of barg and coobedeh. It was so good. The hot bread was good, especially with the cucumber and yogurt diving. The staff was helpful and friendly. We'll be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nersses Vanak:
Awful service, don't come back. Eating is overpriced, servings are quite small. They give you no free water and the tea we have ordered was in a much smaller glass than the others they have served. They took the glass away from our table before we even finished it or asked for a refill. When we kindly asked why we got a smaller part, the waiter brushed us off and said rudely that they ran out of glasses (even if they... View all feedback.
I had her Luleh Kabob and I was very impressed! Her rice was amazing and very humid! The kebab was super tasteful and pleasant. You also have a naan-like bread that I usually don't see in Persian restaurants that I was great though. The basil used was also perfect with rice. I would highly recommend and you know that this is a Glendale spot.
Unbelievable food at this point. Recommended by a friend who told me the Dizi here is one of the best, and it was safe! It's fucked in the corner of a small stripe ball if you don't make sure you drive right with it! But once in service is good, and the food is great! The kabobs and rice and the dizi were delicious! Enjoy my dinner and will definitely be back!
Ordered takeout. It took 10-15 mins. I had the beef koobideh and it was good. The portion was large with rice, tomato, green pepper and one piece of fresh bread. I will probably start going here instead of Raffis.
A humble appearance and location hides an uncut gem. Although my appreciation of Persian cuisine is that of an outsider, my introductory appetizer was a delight, and the Monday afternoon dining room packed with locals is a testament to the quality of their fare. Few symbols are deployed to craft an environment to convince outsiders of authenticity, instead the diner-like venue announces itself through the community and cooking therein. Kashk Bademjan: an eggplant and onion based dip served alongside freshly baked bread, the spices were subtle but delicious, and like the rest of the experience conveyed understated excellence.
Came her on a weekday with friends. Was decently busy but food came quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered lamb soup and kebabs. The meat was tender and so flavorful, the vegetables were perfectly cooked! First time trying Persian food and it was everything we wanted! We left happy and full with a decent amount of leftovers. For the price you really can’t beat it. Swing by for a meal!
