La Perla Sports Cantina - Glendale

I visit this restaurant every weekend with my disabled client to enjoy the atmosphere and live music. The staff is always incredibly welcoming, and with each visit, I find myself more eager to hit the dance floor and show off my dance moves. It's so much fun!

This is a charming little venue that attracts an older, more mature crowd. The DJ was fantastic, and there are occasional live band performances. The dance floor can get quite crowded, so I highly recommend arriving before 10 PM to secure a table.

We had quite an experience at the restaurant. A tile fell from the ceiling onto our table, creating quite a mess, but we handled it ourselves. It was an extremely hot day, and then the restaurant decided to turn off the misters. After that, they asked us to move, which we did without complaint. Our server was amazing and very kind, and we were there to enjoy a car show and a band. Just when we were starting to relax and enjoy ourselves, we were asked to leave, apparently because they thought we had drunk too much. We had five buckets of beer and six large buckets of water, and we were just six ladies over 56, along with my older brother and young nephew. I only rated it a two because the waiter was great.

I come here for the Wednesday night jam session with Fred Boswell Jr and the house band. So many amazing musicians come out to play and sing together at this open mic. It's very chill and nothing but good vibes.Moving on, I really like John the bartender. He's always so nice when I come in and gives excellent customer service. This last time I was there I ordered the chicken wings. I got half mango habanero and half bbq. They were very good.

It's a fun place to dance, and feel more accepted than at a college club. Food is always good. Drinks are yummy and cold. : the staff is attentive. : 10/10 but you do have to pay a fee to get in like 10$. Sigh... I wish there wasn't a fee but it's cool bar all around. Everyone dances with you! So fun !!
