Ihop - Glendale

Clean establishment with friendly staff , fast service , and clean tables and restrooms. A plus is that it’s in a large shopping center with lots of parking. Always nice to sit down for some pancakes and crepes with some coffee.

Their P.A. system is horrible. I had a party of 5 waiting for 45min then they told me they had called my name. Untrue, I had been patiently waiting outside for over 45min. Unbelievable! Going to another location next time

Service was good, but the food was just OK. The menu seems much shorter than it used to be. There is usually a long line here, which moved relatively quickly. My crepe was very average. Same with their burgers. Their traditional pancake was quite good, I would stick to that.

Maybe it was an off night but my experience could have been a lot better. The restaurant had equipment failure so the staff had to make do with what they had. Luckily, I received what I ordered but it took a long time. Not sure if this IHOP is franchised owned but the owner/manager left their staff high and dry. This established is 24/7 yet I was wondering why no repairman was called to fix the kitchen equipment. This IHOP needs to do better and fast.

The portions have become smaller over the years, but my chicken strips and waffles were perfectly prepared and delicious. The waiters were charming and charming. There was a slight misunderstanding with our order that they corrected immediately and efficiently. All in all, it was a pretty good culinary experience.
