However, the highlig... read more I was recommended Highlight Coffee in Glendale by a coffee aficionado, so I wasn't surprised when my flat white turned out quite delicious. However, the highlight of my visit was the two friendly and upbeat baristas. I enjoyed a great conversation with them and appreciated their insights about the coffee shop. Though the café appears larger from the street, it's actually quite cozy inside. The corner location features large windows on both sides, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the space. With a few small tables and a standing bar, it offers just the right amount of seating for a neighborhood coffee shop.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they use Korean matcha from Jeju for their drinks, and it tastes fantastic! It was a bit milk-heavy for my liking, but the matcha flavor still comes through. However, parking is somewhat problematic because there’s no designated parking area, and stopping in front of the store isn’t allowed. You'll need to either have someone drop you off or park further down by the 99-cent store.

I just... read more They serve the most amazing cheese croissants! It was my first visit, and I took advantage of a $5 deal for coffee and a pastry if you arrive by 8:30 AM. I just barely made it. The staff recommended I try the cheese croissant, and I'm so glad I did—it was absolutely delicious! Not too sweet, just perfect. It also had dried cranberries, which added a nice touch. The service was great as well! Everything was just perfect!
