Gen Korean Bbq House - Glendale

Definitely worth the wait! This is the best K-BBQ I've ever had.

There's a convenient parking structure right across the street, and the menu offers a variety of excellent options.

This Korean BBQ restaurant located outside of K Town is excellent and offers great value for money. The establishment is clean, and they serve all the traditional Korean side dishes.

I do not recommend visiting this restaurant. The quality of the meats is quite poor compared to the Oxnard location, which is much better. The pickled cucumber was soggy, and the onions were old and unappetizing. They charge $5 for any wasted food, which is reasonable, but they restrict each table to only four orders per round. This setup is different from other franchises, even though it’s an all-you-can-eat concept. I wouldn’t return to this location and cannot recommend it. The lack of customers speaks volumes about the quality of the food and service.

I've visited two other Gen locations, and this one is definitely among my favorites. Two of my friends and I came here on a Saturday afternoon. As long as you put your name and phone number on the waitlist, everything goes smoothly. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant. I particularly appreciated how they check in periodically to see if we wanted to order more meat or side dishes for the table. They are truly attentive. Bulgogi and galbi are always my favorites at these places. Highly recommended!
