delicious Filipino food! I tried the lechon, the fried chicken and the garlic fried rice. I also tried the gulaman soga (I think what it is called) it was really delicious. give this restaurant a try. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fiesta Sa Barrio Restaurant:
Don’t recommend very slow service. Unfriendly staffs . They don’t let customer’s freedom to give reviews. Someone’s pretending to be a customer to defend them and replied insulting words to customer’s review that understood that they are the OWNER itself who are replying to the reviews! Great food , good service , ambiance is ok not terrible but ok
I ordered Kare-Kare and was advised that it was enough for two people. When I got home, I was completely disappointed by what I received. The dish was mostly bones with very little meat and a lot of fat. There was no oxtail as advertised, and overall it was unappetizing. I would have been better off going to a Filipino fast food restaurant. The price was too high for the low quality of food they provided. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I do not recommend it to others.
The food was tasty and the service was outstanding.
We were shocked at the prices. But what was even more shocking was to be served in disposable tableware. Everything was in styrofoam or aluminum. There wasn't even an attempt to make it feel like you were dining in a pricey restaurant and almost like you were eating of off a food truck. Their food is still decent but my goodness they need to up their game if they want to stay open. Unfortunately for us this will be our last time here. Very expensive to end up eating on cheap styrofoam plates.
I first encountered Fiesta sa Barrio at Eagle Rock. It was a memorable meal with my family. But then I'm glad to find them here in Glendale. We first came here as the second option after the Max's Restaurant in Broadway (which is alway full). But then I found that some of their dishes beat Max's in terms of taste and price. We still come here to for dinner during special occassions. My top 3 recommended dishes are:1. Bulanglang w/ Lechon Kawali (melange of Filipino vegetables with crispy pork belly)2. Bulalo (Beef Shanks Soup)3. Sweet Sour FishSpecial mention: Crispy Binagoongan (UNIQUE recipe, out of the ordinary) and Leche Flan (smooth and jiggly)I like how they present the ambiance and the meal with the classic Filipino eat-at-home vibe. Always left full, never felt disappointed. The place is small and simple, a dining room taken out from your house ?. Has sufficient parking but in case it is full, you can always park on the side of Stocker St.At the moment, this is my personal favorite and recommended Filipino restaurant.
