I've never left a review before but I have to address an angry woman who bad mouthed my friend. Sheryl has been my dear friend for many years. We have the same stupid sense of humor.
Great country breakfast. I think Ernest wasn't here, reading his review. Wonderful biscuits and gravy.
The only thing with more lumps than the mashed potatoes was three rice in the stuffed bell peppers. Speaking of stuffed bell peppers it was rice (no meat) it must have been from the day before and came strait out of refrigerator. The sweet potatoes were good, the cottage fried potatoes with onions and weenies was also good. The cheese enchiladas where was the cheese? Not much else was worth the $15.13 plus tip.
Disgusting service and bad food!!!! To be blunt, the food WAS terrible but it wasn’t the worst part about our meal. I was so disappointed with coming here. I enjoyed the pancakes but the rest of my plate was so bad I didn’t want it The reason I would never come back? Our waitress walked out before we finished so the cook had to ring us up. This sack of added $5 more dollars to the ticket and was hoping I didn’t notice. The receipt showed 32.77 for my wife and I and he rang it up as $37.77- that’s theft. The blatant dishonesty is what’s disgusting here!!! Not like I wanted to pay him for our flavorless food, he tries to take another $5 for himself. Don’t come here Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Short Stack 2
The food there was great! However, the menus could be more specific. It doesnt say what is in the western or spanish omelate. There were exactly 10 coffee creamers, the perfect amount for stacking into little pyramids. The service was very nice, but none of the cooks were wearing hairnets. Overall very good!
