Each time we are in Glen Innes we pop into Peppermints for lunch. Great country hospitality. Good value food. We always have a ham cheese tomato toasted sandwich. They have a great selection of homemade biscuits on offer. Pop in and suit his great cafe in GLEN INNES. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Peppermints:
Guided by other people's reviews, we expected this to be a good place for a coffee and a bite to eat on our way through town. My wife's soup was below average and my coffee was disgusting, weak, unusual flavor and no crema. I put this down to a lack of barista skills to utilize good equipment and good beans to produce a good coffee. I couldn't fault the friendliness of the staff but this on its own never enough. All... After eating this afternoon, I saw this restaurant across the street and decided to give it a try. I ordered toasties, chips, a smoothie, and a cup of tea. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. I was delighted to support this business instead of the usual fast food places. Highly recommended!
I had a lovely dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The menu was well thought out and the attention to detail was impressive. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers. It's a very welcoming environment where you can also enjoy a nice cup of tea.
I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered a latte and the lime cheesecake. It was delicious! I will definitely be back for more.

Such a lovely hidden gem off the main drag through Glen Innes. Fantastic, friendly owners have created a genuine family friendly atmosphere that feels like eating at Nanas! Great home style food and drinks. Lots of options and toys for the kids. This will be...our new lunch destination when passing through!
