Hereford Steakhouse - GLEN INNES

I enjoyed my meal here on Friday night and thought the prices were reasonable. That being said, I've had better steak. My piece was fairly fatty which didn't help. The sides were very tasty however. I would return!

I couldn't get too excited about my meal. Steak was overcooked and not particularly tender but everything tasted ok. If it's your bread and butter though, then you should get it right, no excuses. You pay enough for the meal and while service was fine, I figure if I could do better then it can't be that good!

It was a disappointing experience to revisit this restaurant. The menu is no longer comprehensive and now offers a very basic range of choices. Most side are at an additional cost. Service remains good, however overall the quality and quantity of food is less than acceptable. Prices are at the top of the range.

We overnighted at the motel and ate here. Steaks were really good and cooked to our order, rare, meal price includes steak and two veggie dishes, I had chilli fries and coleslaw, my dining companion had fries, and beans with almonds which were very good. Reasonably priced meals and wine. Predominantly a steak menu so bear that in mind.

Food was great. Service excellent and efficient. Very popular with locals and tourists so you may need to book on a long weekend. We arrived at opening time and were fortunate enough to get the last table.
