If you are looking for good food whilst in Glen Innes, you can't go past the Central Hotel restaurant. Delicious food, great choice, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Make sure you book, we missed out a few times on a Saturday night, (very popular) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Charlies Restaurant and Char Grill:
Great location and lovely inside but when ordering breakfast on Sunday my meal came and 20 mins later my partners crossant. I think they had to buy some more from Coles but no-one informed there would be such a long wait for a ham and cheese crossant. Not great service. View all feedback.

Another trip to the New England and another 2 dinners at Charlies. This time for the 2016 Celtic Festival (29 April) and our 39th Wedding Anniversary (30 April). Again we enjoyed excellent service, nice food (30th was enormous juicy T-bones), and a surprisingly good Seppelts white wine. Despite several Festival functions and a full house of visitors, Charlies again left us keen for our next trip down. Probably for the Year of Ireland Festival next May.
Arrived a bit late for lunch but was more than pleased with service and food from the lovely ladies.
Very impressed with the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices. Huge T-Bone steak. Perfect salmon, and crisp vegetables. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. Great historic décor.
