If you are in search of the best chai ever, look no further! Made fresh right in front of me and served perfectly by the cafe owner, who was the most delightful lady. Definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Come here for the Niravan Chai, nothing like you have ever tried before. Amazing flavours and great presentation. I know my Indian chai and this is the best in Melbourne and easily comparable with the quality available in Indian. The owner is lovely and personable. I would rate this place a 5 just for the chai.Good food options but I bit of a miss. I tried the lamb bagel not very impressed but could be better with some improvements.
The charming and welcoming new owner always greets guests with a smile. This morning, she suggested trying the Nirvana Chai, which was beautifully presented and turned out to be the best chai in Melbourne. It boasted a wonderful mix of delicious spices that left an unforgettable taste. It's no surprise that the cafe, located just off Glenhuntly Road near Officeworks in Elsternwick, has a loyal following of regulars and is gaining popularity among new customers.
I highly recommend trying the Nirvana Chai at this cafe in Elsternwick. The suburb itself is a unique blend of old and new, with plenty of Jewish bakeries, funky cafes, and a diverse population. The cafe has a modern feel with a touch of wear and is under new management. The brunch menu was enjoyable and above average, but the latte was just average. However, the Nirvana Chai was worth the drive, with great presentation and taste. Afterward, we even visited a local Jewish bakery for double the culinary delight. Best wishes to the new, attentive operator. - JT 25/07/2017.
