My blu... read more My partner ordered the gummy fish with sweet potato fries, while I chose the blue grenadier with sweet potato fries. We also enjoyed a delicious granita. My blue grenadier was incredibly tasty, juicy, boneless, and flaky, making it some of the best fish I've had in a while. The sweet potato fries were good, but a bit dry. My partner’s gummy fish was also good, but my dish was the clear winner. The location of the restaurant is fantastic and the service is excellent. With a minor improvement on the sweet potato fries, this place would be perfect. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the beachfront setting. I highly recommend a visit to this place.

Forget the truly woeful offerings in nearby Acland Street, or the other overpriced places around- if you want fish chips or prawn tacos, go here. The fish was fresh, the Japanese potato cakes are awesome and there’s crinkle cut or sweet potato chips. I also had a reasonable glass of Rosè. Next time I will try a granita, which you can also have it with vodka or gin. Totally recommend.

We were just going to enjoy a drink but I noticed a Fish Taco for $6, and thought I’d grab one to try (for the gram ha! . OMG I’m so happy I did, it was so delicious!! Fresh fish cooked to perfection! The slushie drinks were fab too. I can’t wait to go back!
