We just had brunch pax): Calamari salad: “Exactly what I wanted”. Egg Benedict: “As expected” Chilly scrambled egg: “Excellent, nice and moist”. Chorizo addition can be less firm (it was tough Spicy prawn omelette: “The base was a little bit...over cooked (to the point of burned). It was a busy place (I believe it is popular), coffee and orders longer than expected, I give it a benefit of the doubt and I am keen to return and see if my “meh experience” changes in future.

During covid this is my place to go to pick up a quick coffee ! Moby can also do quick meals pre booked .

I was searching for a convenient place in an area I don't usually visit when I stumbled upon Moby. The restaurant looked pleasant, clean, and had a few customers, which was a good sign since it was between breakfast and lunch times. I found a seat outside and sat in the shade. It's worth noting that the table I chose was right in front of the door, which became important later. I waited for a server to come take my drink order or see if I needed any help. After waiting for some time and seeing no one approach me, I helped myself to a menu and poured myself a glass of water. Despite staff chatting through the window in front of me, no one came to serve me. Eventually, a female waitress came out and asked if I needed anything, but I pointed out that another staff member had passed me multiple times without acknowledgment. The response was that he may not have seen me, even though I was sitting right by the entrance. I placed an order for a long black coffee and chili scrambled eggs. The coffee arrived quickly and was good, and the eggs followed shortly after. I couldn't help but notice that other tables received their orders much faster than I did. As the only male customer eating inside, I wondered if this affected the level of service I received. Despite the good food and coffee, the dismissive service I experienced makes me hesitant to return to this establishment.

I've been to both locations twice and they were fantastic. The staff was friendly, the meals were delicious and generous, and the drinks were fantastic. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal or drink by the river.

A busy place on a Saturday. eating looked fresh and tempting. the banana/cao smoothness was the best I have ordered so far in melbourne. everyone enjoyed eating. the personal was very helpful.
