I know my Indian chai and this is the best in Melbourne and easily comparable with the quality available in Indian. The owner is lovely and personable. I would rate this place a 5 just for the chai.Good food options but I bit of a miss. I tried the lamb bagel not very impressed but could be better with some improvements.

It was presented beautifully and turned out to be the best chai in Melbourne, with an amazing combination of delicious spices.<br/ <br/ No wonder there are a lot of regulars and more people are discovering this interesting cafe just off Glenhuntly Road, almost opposite Officeworks, Elsternwick.

However, the Nirvana Chai was the standout item for me and made the hour-long drive worthwhile.
