It wasn't until we threatened to leave that our service slightly improved, and we were offered a bottle of wine as compensation. Overall, the experience at Fatboy was unsatisfactory. The restaurant has potential with its stylish decor, but the service and food fell short of expectations. I would not return to Fatboy in the future.

We had made... read more I work on Chapel Street and pass by Fatboy every day, so I was eager to finally check it out. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. We had made a reservation four days in advance, but when we arrived, the employee who greeted us seemed disinterested. It took over 15-20 minutes for someone to take our drink order, only for them to return 10 minutes later to say they were out of the beer we wanted. After adjusting our order, we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The first entree came with no sauce and was cold, while the second entree was a small portion served in a martini glass with minimal lettuce. When we complained, the waiter took the dish away and we had to speak to the manager about the issue. Our main dishes took another 45-60 minutes to arrive, and throughout the night, our table was never cleared and the staff rarely checked on us. Eventually, after expressing our dissatisfaction, we were offered a complimentary bottle of wine. Overall, the service at Fatboy was lacking and the food, while decent, did not make up for the poor experience. It's a shame because the restaurant has potential with its nice decor, but I would not return based on this visit.
