Well my experience here , horrible I mean horrible, 5 nights I was here 4 of them I had trouble, 8:00 in the morning I was just falling asleep, just in my underwear door locked house maid just walks on in tells me I got to get up so they can do my room, 10 mins later had a call on the room phone the owner called and said I had to get out, apparently they said the smelled cigarette smoke, accused me of smoking in the room, I never did smoke in my own house why would I do it here, no respect here for their guess, their all the time trying to get someone removed, you go to the front desk ask a question, the staff well go and talk about it, when I went to the main desk on Friday morning all I done was asked for a towel and garbage bag, the guy on the desk got upset with me and said that their not there for that and said that's what room service is for, and did not give it to me, all because I asked for a bag and towel, he got mad and frustrated with me, there is no respect here for their guest, very uncomfortable here , no where in this hotel can u go get something to eat, there no cafeteria here in the hotel, some of staff makes you fell like your nothing and makes ya feel very uncomfortable and unwanted !!! Let's be real here. This not a 2 star hotel--it's barely one star! I think we had realistic expectations considering the price, but even then we were disappointed. The price per room online says 1-2 people, however when we added 1 more person (2 in total) to a reservation for 1 person, there was an up-charge. The room was beyond shabby, and I itched all over when I was in bed. There is not adequate lighting, I am short sited, so had to go out into the hall to read any printed info. There is no restaurant which means having to go out for morning coffee which is essential to my well being. Wifi is a joke--hard to find the network to join and the speed is under 10 MBPS. 25 MBPS is the minimum to be considered high speed. Unless all you want is a roof over your head I would look elsewhere. I don't believe the positive reviews--I think they are fake. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 2

Walk in last September 13 asked for a room,the guy at front desk said that he had one left a suit on the top floor, I said your full,him said to why do you think I'm lying to you!!!!, I said no no I was happy for them sense I know the owner some what.so he told us to take a seat very rudely,so we did and waited for about 15 minutes, then right out of the blue a man walks in asks if any room available, he said one left and gave it to him....so the wife and I left ,I then called back to the hotel and asked for Shawn's number, which he wouldn't give me,so then said if I wanted a room he had another one available cancelation), desperate because no rooms available in corner brook last night we took the room, now for as long as I can remember we always stay at hotel corner brook, but from this day forward as long as Mike is working there I will not be staying there at this hotel again..also was charged 138.00 on par with the green wood mamateek and glynmill in,but far from the decency of the others,so Shawn park I hope you do will with this hotel, but consider getting rid of a certain staff member, he's only out to hurt your business.........sincerely a long time costumer, but not any more. Location is good, people working there were helpful. I just didn't feel safe there as there are no locks at the entrance door and doors that lead to stairs are not locked and there is a pub in the same building. I could start the list that needed (air conditioning, microwave, kettle) but it is small hotel for very affordable price so you shouldn't expect a lot.
