had my first visit to this boston pizza place (I was in the past at 3 others) and I must say that this was one of the best experiences I had in the boston pizza chain. the server was very friendly (will get a bad one on the chain) and eating came fast. we were checked several times, although it was pretty busy. they were great at all locations, but the kaktus schnittfries are a great appetizer. What User doesn't like about Boston Pizza:
The service at this restaurant was good, but the food was just average – nothing that really wowed me. Honestly, I can cook better meals at home, and I can find cheaper beer elsewhere. However, my latest visit was much more enjoyable thanks to a friendly and hardworking bartender. I ordered a steak that was supposed to be medium, but it came out well done. One out of 4 plates of food was over cooked and dry. The server Julianna K seemed very short, slightly annoyed when asked questions about Vegan, Gluten Free and Allergy related questions. Seems as though she did not know the difference between Gluten and Vegan. Either way we were able to order accommodating food for everyone at the table. My wife states the Mac Cheese was one of the best she’s had. The atmosphere was good, tv’s on playing sports and the restaurant was connected to/had inside entry to the mall. Not sure I would eat there again based on the service but either way, we ate and left.
I've been to 7 different Boston Pizzas across Canada and this one is the worst....by far!!! The food is mediocre at best, but the service is the kicker. Some of the rudest staff I've ever encountered in a restaurant! Waiting almost 15 minutes in the doorway before the greeter came out from out back somewhere, and she acted like we were inconveniencing her. I even noticed an eyeroll when I mentioned my daughter's gluten sensitivity to the waitress...Absolutely will NOT return!
