Funistrada - GLEN ARBOR
Funistrada
Description
Trattoria Funistrada offers a cozy atmosphere and attentive service, making it a preferred spot for both casual diners and special occasions. Guests appreciate the diverse menu, with standout dishes like veal saltimbocca and chicken saltimbocca earning high praise. The wine list is well-curated and reasonably priced, complementing the flavorful meals. However, some diners noted inconsistencies in dish quality, particularly with steak and salmon. With limited seating, reservations are highly recommended, especially during the summer. Despite a few minor hiccups, the overall dining experience is marred by only occasional noise, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable meal for patrons.

Feedback
I had the blackened steak with balsamic reduction and a Caesar salad, both of which were outstanding. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It did become a bit noisy as the restaurant filled up for the dinner rush, but the overall atmosphere and conversation remained enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area seeking a great meal. The only downside was that the prices were a bit high, but it was definitely worth the visit.
They truly enjoy the warm and cozy ambiance, along with the variety of food options available. The service was consistently excellent.
Our group had mixed opinions about the restaurant. We all agreed that the service was excellent—knowledgeable and prompt. Personally, I found the pasta dishes to be quite good, as well as the veal and chicken options. However, some other dishes, like the steak and salmon, were only mediocre. The wine list is nice and reasonably priced. The restaurant is small, with about 14 to 16 tables, so reservations are a must. There’s no kids' menu, and they charge $16 for split plates, which gives it a clear adult-oriented vibe. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but just not enough to warrant a higher rating.
