We chose the Sir Chapel Bistro and Brewery from the many options available at the Tramshed Harold Park and it didn't disappoint. Service was quick and efficient. The kitchen handled my low carb requirement without any fuss. Good number of drink choices. No trying to rush us out. I can highly recommend them. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sir Chapel:
Inattentive staff who were clearly unhappy to be there. Roasted Beetroot and goats cheese salad was tinned beetroot. One tiny piece of goats cheese. It was all leaves. If I had wanted a leaf salad with a few slices of tinned beetroot and one tiny piece of goats cheese I would have ordered that ! Had to ask for water refills rather than leave the jug. Sit in food is okay but their barrister couldn't make a coffee to save himself. Ruined my day serving up a Campos coffee that was so week that I wouldn't touch it after the first sip. Unhappy!!!!!
I live nearby the Tramsheds so visit Sir Chapel frequently for food and sometimes just drinks. The service is always good and food always great but one particular waitress, Renata, is above the mark and a great asset to Sir Chapel. She's always friendly, helpful and attentive. She seems to enjoy her job and the customers are the beneficiaries making it a fun place to be.Definitely recommend visiting Sir Chapel.
We chose to eat here because we are systematically checking out all of the restaurants at the Tram Sheds. There is something just not working with the Sir Chapel team. I knew right away we were in trouble when we all ordered coffee while we perused the menu. One of our party of three had completed his coffee and ordered a second round, mainly so the staff wouldn't be embarrassed that they had not delivered for the other two diners. Eventually they arrived but not before two inquiries regarding whether the order had been misplaced.I cant be sure whether my menu choice was as bad as I thought it was, or if I was just in the wrong mood when it eventually arrived. My two dining companions said their hamburgers were good and they had no complaint. But in my book, dining is not just about the food on the plate, it is more complex than that. I expect there to be some flow and harmony about when the food arrives. There is an expectation that we will all dine together, not in stages out of step with one another. I was not here to simply fill my stomach, I was here to commune over food. And this restaurant hasn't really got those other important elements sorted out yet.The staff seemed in disarray, confused and struggling to my eye. Will I dine here again? No I won't. I feel averse in the face of so many excellent dining options in this precinct. Parking is free for first two hours, after six free. Toilets are clean and accessible.

A family group of 3 adults and 3 children under 10, for an early lunch. "No, you can't order pizza as the oven hasn't been turned on". "OK, we'll have fish and chips and popcorn prawns and calamari". All arrived greasy and of average quality (ie like frozen meals from the supermarket. Never again.
