Liscio's Italian Bakery Deli

I have to disagree with the bottom review as Mr. Liscio has over 300+ employees that would strongly disagree with the below statement. Also, his family(sons) that work at the bakery, work as hard if not more so than the rest of the employees.

Liscios is extremely overpriced and not very good. A regular hoagie that would be about $7 or $8 anywhere else is $14 here. I wouldn't mind the extreme price if they're food was amazing but the best thing about their hoagies are the seeded bread. Asidefrom that Wawa makes a better hoagie. Their food lacks depth and flavor. Having worked in a bakery many moons ago, what Iremember was the wonderful smells and ambiance. Liscios is missing that element. Another issue is the terrible service. Thestaff aren't the friendliest. Mostly they all seem annoyed. Lastly their driver's are a danger to everyone. Those trucks comeflying onto Delsea Drive like there's no stop sign.

Very unprofessional? the owner has issues with his anger and mental health, and has all his kids working off him as they get to decide the times they work and the amount of effort they put in. Nepotism is huge here . James will lash on costumers and loyalemployees even to go as far as physically touching them or slapping something out of their hands when poor little James is toooverwhelmed. To anyone that wants to buy from this place a really recommend going anywhere else.

Pepperoni bread is the best around hands down. And let?s not get in to all the sweets. If you want anything bakery fresh this is the place to go.

This is by far the place to go for fresh Italian breads, rolls and pastries. If you want a truly Hoagie/Sub/Sandwich master piece then you go to Liscio's. Wawa is convenient, but me and my boys opt for a Lisico's hoagie for our fishing trios. They also have many of pre made Italian dishes and pastas to choose from. A true GEM of South Jersey.
