Only by chance we came to this restaurant, as all the others have a rest day on Monday or have already been booked. The restaurant is just as old as a regular table where Skat is played. There are only a few dishes, but they are all homemade and it tastes like before in Grandma. There are, for example, Strammer Max, peasant breakfast, schnitzel, steak, onion meat. Those who expect noodles are wrong here, simple German cuisine. The prices are okay. The operators are very nice and you could well with them at the end we sat 1h and have chatted. A rustic Olle village pub, as I remember from the 70s and 80s of the East. Simple practical furniture, wooden stacks that is not necessarily stylish now, but cozy, few people sitting at the table and who comes knocks on the tables... 15 years ago no longer experienced! The big beer (0.5l) costs 2.60 euros and all foods below 10 euros! The carving belongs among the blows of the hostess in the kitchen to die and you know that everything is fresh and not from microwave and fry! The acidic vegetables themselves inlaid and tastes like the mothers of 25 years! No gourmet restaurant, but still such a real, honest German village pub as it will no longer exist in Germany. I like being here and thank you!

Nach einigen Jahren wieder mal im Heimatort... Zunächst: geöffnet hat der Lindengarten Mo Fr 18 22 Uhr Es ist eine Dorfgaststätte, so wie ich sie in Erinnerung hatte, schlicht, einfach, rustikal. Wir wollten nur eine Kleinigkeit essen und etwas trinken. Ein kleines Radler und Zwiebelfleisch auf Brot lecker !! für nicht mal 13 € !! Wir haben uns nett mit den Wirtsleuten, dem Ehepaar Hahn, unterhalten. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.
