I've visited Caffe Monza several times before, and it’s now my go-to café in Partick. Today, Dianne and I came along with our baby granddaughter, Mirren. We found a lovely table with plenty of room for the pram, and they provided a spotless high chair for the baby. We enjoyed mugs of tea for a change, along with delicious cheese and ham toasties and an almond croissant—absolutely excellent. Feeding the baby at lunchtime was hassle-free. What a fantastic place! The staff are friendly and charming, and the facilities are excellent. Thank you, Caffe Monza. Bravo! Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Visited Caffe Monza for lunch for the first time. The place was busy, and the atmosphere was decent with some pleasant music. The iced coffee arrived quickly but was watery. The salami ciabatta seemed like it had been sitting out before being toasted—one side was rock hard while the other was soggy. The pesto was burnt to the point it looked like tobacco. The main disappointment was a roll with bacon and a potato scone. The roll was soggy, the bacon dry but somewhat crispy, and the potato scone was both rock solid and undercooked, which was baffling. The Nutella cannolis were average but ended up being the best item. Service was poor; I overheard a young waiter rudely respond to a nearby table when a customer asked for milk with his latte, saying, “the latte is made the way it is supposed to be,” and then ignoring the request. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
The drinks are affordable and taste great. The ladies working there are very charming. However, the two guys managing the music playlist need to improve it. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Love the chill out music chocolate crispies strawberry coconut slice and excellent service by short handed over worked staff
