Excellent accommodation and staff. Stay here for work and I rate this place as 100% without any doubt. I can't say that for many places. Food was of high restaurant quality a dining area was immaculate. The whole venue was well supervised and the staff could no longer meet any request. Again for an unforgettable stay.
The lady running the place (Evie?)couldn't be more helpful and friendly and is a credit to the place. Great food , quiet, great fully self contained room. Stayed for work on nightshift and would highly recommend.
Clean and new modern inheritors of the cabins. The staff were so friendly from reception to the chefs The food was excellent, buffet evening meal, salad bar,. Eggs benedict available for breakfast and packed off to work with a roast beef and gravy roll. I was here for work, so the location was not important, but it wasn't far from Gladstone itself Will be staying here every work trip to Gladstone
As far as beaches go it's basically the only one available in Gladstone so it's okay on a nice day when the tide is in for a swim otherwise out of the question, if you are in the area head to Tannum beach a bit over 20ks south it's much nicer at all times. If you have a dog there's a stretch of beach called canoe pt which is off leash and also great for children as quite shallow.
