Lunch for two was 50 dollars - chicken satay and a pulled pork sandwich with drinks. Setting is nice, with outdoor seating. Great gelato. 10=15 minute walk from marina dock for trip to Heron Island. View all feedback.

Have been several times and have had great service, brilliant coffee and donuts but the service I received last week was terrible the new blonde lady that threw my donuts across the table should not be in the hospitality industry. What a shame! View all feedback.

Went to Gladstone to visit family over Easter and after a fun day out decided to eat at The Dock at East Shores on Easter Saturday night. Four adults and 2 children had a relaxed meal overlooking Gladstone Harbour and Sailing Club. We enjoyed the vibe of this great spot. Pulled pork tacos, Peter Rabbit salad, Asian calamari salad and fish and chips were selected and none disappointed. Some of us completed the meal with a gelato icrecream. Great way to finish the day. Highly recommended.
Trendy local cafe with a steady clientele of mums with bubs, workers and general locals. Great deck over looking the East Shore parkland and Marina.Great menu for all tastes. The Gelaspresso bar very popular with the kids. I had the Herbivore salad with a veggie patty, which was very tasty.
I have been there several times. In my view the only good thing about this place is a nice view. The indoor area was absolutely turn off for me because of smell of fried food and donuts. When you order a food if it is not that much busy you have to wait around 30 mins. The portion of food is fine but the quality is average but you charge for a good!!My biggest issue with this place was for poor costumer service. The first time I ordered coffee in cups for two but I got take away coffee. 2nd time I ordered food for my wife and my self, they brought my food but my wife gad to wait for another 10 mins for her food. The worst one was today, we went there after a though day to have afternoon coffee and get relaxed. We were the only costumer there and waited for our coffee for more than 30 mins. Even the business owner was there and saw us twice but he did not care! Then we noticed they totally forgot our order!! I guess this guys are not well trained ☹️☹️
The best thing about The Dock is the location. A good view across the inlet at a few of the yachts moored. There are tables outside and some inside - although inside is a bit of a turn off with the smell of deep fried food and the obvious lack of fresh air flowing through. I have visited on a few occasions - just for coffee, for lunch, for a sweet treat and also for dinner. I ordered an Asian Calamari salad for lunch which had nice crispy calamari rings on a bed of salad leaves with their own fresh grown herbs mixed in. I really enjoyed it. My only issue was, I had researched the menu online before getting there and was charged $5 more than the website menu. Apparently they had just had a change of price which wasn't reflected online. On another occasion I ordered the double cheese burger. It came with 2 beef patties and a very small bun, therefore it fell apart with the first bite. It was okay.My dinner visit was with a group of friends and we ordered a serve of doughnuts to start! They were so hot and delicious. I again ordered the Asian Calamari Salad which this time was lacking the nice big rings of calamari, only had one mint leaf and had a sweeter dressing than last time. Not as good this time around. I think their meals are a bit overpriced and their wine is definitely overpriced. The staff are friendly and the outlook is fab.
