Why are they blocking the door at 8 and going through the whole store?

Great choice for a grocery store, and they usually have a kind of samples on weekends. Amazing selection of Sake, better than most liqueurs. Many beers to choose from, with spirits. Besides, it is simply beautiful in there, not crowded and very clean and somehow luxurious (I know it sounds crazy to describe a grocery Liquor section as luxurious. One of my favorite places to buy alcohol.

I asked for help was able to find exactly what I needed with the help I was ready to leave the door.

Raw chicken! Tonight my girlfriend and I got Hyvee Mealtime meals from this location as a quick and easy dinner. My food was fine, however my girlfriend got the Chicken Caesar Salad, which had raw chicken in it. Raw chicken is dangerous and never should have made it out of the kitchen, let alone served to a customer. The exterior of the chicken was grilled as advertised then sliced into strips, however the entire center of the chicken was still pink, cold, and raw. I’ve had good experiences with this Hyvee’s food, however this is unfortunately a turn off.

Very nice staff, little expensive. crusty dusty yucky mucky ducky sucky egg section tho
