We decided to go in becaus... read more We were turned away from Rivers and happened to pass The White House. It was empty and we thought something was wrong with the place. We decided to go in because the wait staff were so friendly and gave the children blocks to play with and coloring in sheets with crayons. I ordered the $40 meal that consisted of an entree, main and dessert. I had garlic bread with dips yum! then steak, wedges and salad yum! and ended with sticky date pudding yum, yum, yum! My cousin had the same as me and he enjoyed his meal and my daughter in law had the pork belly and lava cake which she enjoyed and the kids had hot dog and chips from the kids menu and were full after this and not wanting dessert. The staff were amazing, we enjoyed a bit of banter with the Indian guy who was very polite and the lovely lady from Matamata. We struck gold walking into this place and I highly recommend it.

I recomend if they have a function or a reveal etc. and they can not be disturbed cook they go down into the whitehouse they also sort them have wheelchair access for disabled and even a disabled lift to disabled customers up there rooms that are fantastic! they also have a bar if they want to go with a beer, wine cake, ghost drinks and even coffee or tea and they can also have beautiful

But as for the waitress that served us she was rude and rushed us to hurry up in our reserved area which we had booked from 10am till 1pm. But wanted us out by 12.30. We also asked for cutlery while setting up our area and she told us to wait till she was ready to give them out.This was ment to be my nephews 1st birthday and everything else was spot on besides the waitress.

I reccomend if you have a function or an unveiling etc and you can't be bothered cooking go down to the Whitehouse they will sort you out they also have wheelchair access for the disabled and even a disability lift to get disabled customers to there upstairs rooms which is awesome! They also have a bar if you'd like to have a beer,wine,spirits and even coffee or tea and they also have beautiful cakes and slices that you can purchase to go with your hot beverages.
