We'd been looking forward to visiting Flonta again after a couple of years away and we were so disappointed. The atmosphere was quite nice with beautiful views of the lake. However, the food was honestly atrocious. The fritto misto tasted vile and for the first time in my life I was unable to eat my side of fries because it legitimately tasted like it had been rewarmed in a microwave. When ordering, we'd accidentally mentioned what we'd like for our dessert. We asked the waiter to bring out the dessert AFTER the main as is the norm everywhere. Well the waiter brought the dessert together with the main, and told us the kitchen staff said they were busy and had nowhere to put the dessert until our mains were finished! The whole experience left a literal and metaphorical bad taste in my mouth, considering the fact that the food is NOT cheap. With the number of other amazing restaurants opening up in Timisoara, this restaurant will definitely not last much longer if it continues to serve such disappointment to the taste buds.

When we arrived at the agreed time, there was no table reserved for us, s... read more We made an reservation for dinner for 4 people (mainly because of the beautiful view). When we arrived at the agreed time, there was no table reserved for us, so the staff placed a small table right in the middle of the deck, near the entrance and the bar. There was no way 4 people could eat at that table. When asked to get another table the staff just shrug their shoulders and said all the other are reserved for large groups. We had to find another restaurant. The food and admosphere ratings are based on a previous visit.
