The Barracks Lanyon Homestead

If i could give 10 stars i would. Had my wedding there lastnight and Owen and the team made sure our special day was perfect in every way . The food was beautiful the atmosphere was stunning i couldnt ask for a better team the customer service was amazing the staff were really friendly and polite i highly recomend this place. Thank you to Owen and the team

After living in Canberra for several years now we decided to come here for a visit. Great to see an original homestead and learn a bit of its history. We didn’t actually do the tour but decided to have lunch instead. Staff were very friendly and some great breakfast, lunch and desert options as well as a good selection of beer and wine. We’ll definitely be back to do the tour and lunch.

Excellent customer service, delicious food and reasonable prices. Historical homestead, country feel but but close to town centre, overlooking the river, valley and mountains. The place clean, well kept, and tidy. Ideal for those visiting Canberra.

An olde world atmosphere with great food, excellent service and good coffee. The surrounding gardens and view of the ranges are stunning. Excellent wedding venue. Child friendly.

What a little gem! Great coffee, gorgeous setting, and friendly, fast service! Loved the food was thrilled with the roast wattleseed pav. Best of all it was child friendly plenty of space and gardens to run around, not to mention a luxurious bathroom with baby change facilities. Definitely coming back!
