The food was delicious compliments to the cook the waitress was beautiful
We used to be for drinks and it was great the last few times. We chose Sunday dinner and 6 of us went. First of all, we have to put ourselves with a booking, we were not even shown on the table, the girls just pointed and then told me I could find menus on surrounding tables. Secondly, there was no service to us. For every round of drinks and when ordering our food we had to go to the bar ourselves. We ordered food, but one of our parties is vegetarian and allergic to nuts. My partner was told that you did not make the regular menu on Sunday, but she could change the meat for cauliflower cheese or potatoes. I then ordered this at the bar for them, but I was told that I couldn't trade the meat for everything and pay for a roast I just wouldn't get. We were then served our food. The beef was absolutely beautiful and tasty. But the chicken was so dry that it was unusable. It was literally infallible. I also ordered a side of pigs in blankets with which I revived 3. For £2.50 I might expect 5 not 3 cocktail sausages. No one checked us during the meal, no one came to see if the food is okay. We stayed for a few more drinks, but we will not return to dinner again.
I made a reservation with an open table and got a confirmation number, but when we arrived at the restaurant that had no record of the reservation! You said the open table didn't call and didn't make reservations! They sat in time, but I was disappointed in this situation. Tom Zander
Beautiful food and atmosphere, although can be noisy, just right if you choose the right time.
We was refused entry because we had our 11 month old baby with us. There’s nothing on the website saying they don’t allow kids. It’s was pouring it down outside and we wasn’t even allowed to stand in the door way under shelter whilst we decided what to do. This was on a Thursday can I just add.
