The Coop - Gillette
The Coop
Description
Hidden in Gillette, this unpretentious spot earns rave reviews for rotisserie chicken, chicken‑chorizo tacos, homemade tortillas, vibrant salsas and legendary corn muffins. Diners praise fresh, flavorful cooking, allergy accommodations and brisk service, though experiences vary: portions sometimes feel small, quality can be inconsistent, and staff friendliness fluctuates. Takeout has occasionally disappointed, and the lack of air conditioning can make the dining room uncomfortable. A casual, family‑friendly find for bold, homey Mexican‑style flavors.

Absolutely amazing! Some of the best, tastiest, and most fresh food I’ve ever had. This place is so shockingly good that I can’t believe we here in Gillette are blessed with its presence. This is easily my favorite place to eat in all of Gillette! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The coop is a tiny little restaurant off of the main drag in Gillette. My husband and I absolutely love the food here. It’s not completely Mexican. It’s not completely American. It’s a really neat combination of things. We’ve never had a bad meal here. And the service is always very good. If you’re looking for a romantic atmosphere this is not the place to go though. It really is just a very casual very small, 9 tables in the entire place. But it’s usually pretty quick and very good.
