Having only been in Gillette for a few weeks, I’m still getting familiar with the area, but Mona's caught my eye since it's conveniently located on the street. A review by Elizabeth Paff convinced me to give it a try. When I arrived at 6:15 on Thursday, the café was filled with local blue-collar workers, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The new owner(s) are still using Ramona's original recipes. The only downside of my experience was the coffee, which was a bit on the wild side, but it was still enjoyable. Based on Paff's recommendation, I ordered the breakfast burrito, and it was fantastic! Next time, I plan to try the corn rind hash. A big shoutout to Krissy, the waitress – she was the best!

Having just moved to Gillette a few weeks ago, I’m still getting my bearings. Luckily, I found Mona's right down the street, and Elizabeth Paff's review convinced me to give it a try. I arrived at 6:15 AM on a Thursday and enjoyed the lively atmosphere with local blue-collar workers chatting and joking. The new owner is still following Ramona's original recipe, which is a plus. The only downside of my visit was the coffee, but even that was quite decent. Following Paff’s recommendation, I ordered the breakfast burrito. Thank you to everyone mentioned! I plan to try the corned beef hash next time, but for now, that burrito was fantastic! And a special shoutout to Krissy, the best waitress ever!
