Was there with my friend on our last night on Gili T. There’s limited bbq seafood restaurant on the island, especially one with lobsters. With that, we narrow down our options to this restaurant. Quite bad overall. The staff does a great job and the service is friendly and swift. But everything else is truly bad. Cocktails are weak. Weak as in you can gulp it without even feeling the alcohol . I went for the seafood bbq. While it was not as badly cooked as elsewhere, it was still undercooked, being raw in some pieces. Was recommended by a local. Was good but not exceptional. Staff friendly and accommodating, got a seat and the help yourself to the salad buffet . Reasonable good selection of salads and dressings, fresh, taste good. Fish wise, I chose the Barramundi, to be freshly grilled with garlic, and served with french fries. I ordered an additional chicken skewer. Barramundi excellently grilled, crispy skin, very yummy. The criticism is that from the 6 bits on the skewer 3 were pineapple. Tasty, but for a chicken skewer at that price I expected more. Including a small mineral water and taxes total dinner for 1 came in just over 310K. The seafood and fish I highly recommend, leave the chicken skewer?! Great seats overlooking the beach, and cotton napkins help to add some class.
We have late lunch at Scallywags, walking distance from my Hotel Vila Ombak. We order pork ribs and snapper fish, drink I order coconut water. You can have a good view from seaside of beach. Water is very fresh and several boat at beach. Taste standard. I like snapper more than the pork ribs. Coconut is fresh, waiter is friendly. Price at Gili Trawangan more pricy if we compare to lombok or bali. Because the transportation. They have to buy the food from Mataram and send by boat to Gili Trawangan. The place at Gili Trawangan mostly 80% are foreigners tourist.
A decent place to have dinner, the sirloin steak was 149k for what im guessing around 150 grams.. the taste was okay. Love the atmosphere and great service too.
The restaurant has a stunning view of the sea as well as the island of Lombok. It's ideal for unwinding after arriving on Gili Trawangan. I ordered tuna steak yesterday, which was quite tasty, and the waiter was also pleasant.
If you want to treat ur self while in Gili, then you have to visit this resto. They have plenty options for food, and the vibe is excellent. The staff also very friendly. We go for the BBQ and we love it. The only cons is we found that it quite pricey, however, indeed, that they have amazing vibe for dating or hang out with friends.
