Had the restaurant week menu. The prime rib was cooked right, but a small portion. It could always be a little bigger during restaurant week. You want people to come back. The Miner pie was the best part of the dinner. DANGEROULY YUMMY! View all feedback.
What Zac Phillips doesn't like about The Keg Steakhouse Gilbert:
Waiter was not very attentive. Food was OK...had the peppercorn steak. Meat was overcooked, whiskey sauce had very little flavor. Would have sent back but took too long to see out waiter again and food took a while to begin with View all feedback.

This was absolutely the wrong place to go to! It is extremely overpriced!! I ordered just the keg ceaser and asked to add grilled chicken to it. The lady told me yes, I could add chicken, steak, or shrimp. I asked what the price difference was, and she said $9-$15. I assumed like EVERY OTHER restaurant, chicken would be the cheapest, assuming it would be the $9. I got my bill. The salad itself is $12(no problem), but to add chicken, this place charged me $15!!!!! That chicken breast was more than the price of the damn salad, mind you the chicken WAS NOT grilled like I asked, it was like over baked or something and extremely crunchy!! My husband had the $55 seasonal 3-course thing. He enjoyed the prime rib, but he said he'd never come back because he gets a better prime rib at Texas Roadhouse, and you get way more for your money at TR!!
Had the pistachio crusted salmon and it came with potatoes and broccoli. It was good, not the greatest. Don’t think it was worth $35. I make my own at home and so I wasn’t blown away. My mom got the sirloin wrapped with bacon and it was delicious. The sourdough bread was really good. Our server was nice. We sat in the bar area so it was pretty loud, would have been nice if it was quieter. Overall good experience and we’d like to go back and try more items.
LOVED THE MUSHROOM APPETIZER!! Will be back again soon for sure!!
