I ordered to go but had a quick appetizer while I waited. The girls serving were so attentive and sweet! You don't see this often in restaurants anymore. Very kind hearted, and providing service with a genuine smile. Joe, James, and Jason were the sushi chefs. Awesome characters! We were not impressed. This place doesn?t compare to Kodo (just south on Gilbert). Unfortunately Kodo is not open on Sundays so we tried this place. Everything that came out was just meh. The nigiri was good but the rolls were just ok. We waited a really long time for our food also. Will not be going back. View all feedback.
Awful! Worst Japanese food I've ever had. The gyoza were like cardboard and tasted like microwave food. My beef teriyaki was not edible. I couldn't bite through it was so tough, no teriyaki sauce. Had to send it back and I never do that unless it's thatbad. The only bright part of this experience were the servers. They were all really nice, super understanding when I didn't likemy beef new chef apparently lol) and did a great job. Oh, and the place literally filled with smoke to the point my eyes werewatering but that was normal they said. We left after that. Thank goodness there's an In n Out burger just up the street.

The food Itook home was amazing, even after I left, pumped gas, and then got home, the miso soup was still very hot. Perfect to serve. I'mso happy this place is only a few blocks from my house.

Businesses that close down between lunch and dinner are exclusive to those who operate within that window. I'd be interested to see how they managed to stay in business, when they closed down for dine in as, for as long as they did. We all know FULL wellthat next to nobody orders raw fish to go.... you eat it fresh while it cold. Something smells fishy.
Came across the restaurant by accident, but so glad we did! Great service, great food, beautiful presentation! We ordered salmon sashimi and it was so buttery and delicious. Las Vegas roll was so good! 10/10 would recommend!!
