Brio is a nice medium-price Italian restaurant. Food and service were very good. I wish they had more locations in the Phoenix, Arizona area. (They used to have a restaurant in north Scottsdale. View all feedback.
What marc amedeo doesn't like about Brio Italian Grille:
Restaurant review: This place has gone downhill significantly since we first started dining here about five years ago. Used to have the same wait staff, but turnover has mostly new staff every 45 days. Lack of training and subpar service is my recent impression of this place. Pricing knowledge is severely limited too, we had several pricing issues that needed correction at the end of meal too. Lunch portions are smal... View all feedback.
Not a fan of the food could of been better flat bread was a cracker
No service, no employee assisted myself or another couple that was in front of us. After 10 mins of waiting and not being greeted or anything we all left.
My dad first introduced me to Brio in Salt Lake City a few years ago. The lasagna and steak salad were always top notch. I've been to this Brio before and it was good. After eating there last night, I don't think I'll go back. My steak salad tasted like it sat in dressing in the fridge all day and was quite soggy, I think they replaced half of the amount of steak with extra candied pecans.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Just paid $40 for a to go order of chicken pasta. Got a small container of pasta with one piece of chicken about the size of half a chicken tender. And the end piece of a $2 Frys french bread, rock hard, which seems to have been sitting out for about 3 days. Had to go to Jasons Deli on the way home to get a pasta order for $12 to actually eat a decent dinner tonight. Added a picture with the meal from this place at the top, with 1 piece of chicken and stale bread (which required a tip for to go btw) and jasons deli at the bottom with what looks like 9 pieces of chicken and fresh bread. edit: after seeing the bread I am not going to eat the meal from this place as I think it will make me sick. Not worth the risk.
My wife and I stopped in at Brio for a quick lunch while shopping at the mall. Our server Daniel did an excellent job with quick service with a smile. We will definitely go back to this restaurant again.
