What Jerri Romaszewski doesn't like about Black Bear Diner Gilbert:
The biscuits were stale and hard under the gravy. We were there around 1 pm after the lunch rush. First the waitress brought the wrong drinks, then she asked my son if he wanted whipped cream and strawberries on his pancakes but when the pancakes came out they were plain and she forgot the hashbrowns for him. We didn't say anything and in the end she gave us someone else's bill. It was 14.99 for someone's hamburger.... View all feedback.

Fun place to go they really nail the bear theme. Great food and portion for the price!
Very large portions, great price, delicious food, awesome service and the Huckleberry Lemonade is fantastic!!!
Downhome style food which is scrumptious, BIG portions , friendly staff, modestly priced. If there was anything negative it had nothing to do with the food, people, money. The dark carpet could be replaced to lighten up the atmosphere but that alone would NOT deter me from eating there OFTEN!
Typical diner with great homestyle cooked fare. Reasonably priced, friendly service.
