Very recommended is the lunch table. but you should reserve a table in advance. the food is fresh and one is also fed by the lunch table. also the dessert (ice) is recommended.
The food - we had economical in various variations - was very delicious. the price level is also high, but appropriate. for 5 stars I lack the last ground, yet in gifhorn a recommendation.

The ratsweinkeller is the top restaurant with the German/schwäbischer cuisine within gifhorn. the long constant good kitchen performance is remarkable. the most recommended are the menu suggestions of the menu, where the price/performance ratio is correct.The reservation is always reasonable, as the free restaurant area is not particularly extended.
