Good kitchen in a pleasant ambience! Only in the large dining room is the noise at many occupied tables a bit high (subjective impression). The food and price ratio make it more of a secondary matter. Had steak, 1/2 chicken, ravioli and curry sausage. Everything was great, especially chickens and steak were very good. Come back! What Brook Nolan doesn't like about Zum Deutschen Heinrich:
understandably that in times of corona and constantly changing regulations also a restaurant is located in difficulty for planning. Unfortunately, it was very noticed at eating. gans and tasted, even if you noticed that they did not come fresh from the many. the noodles as a supplement were, however, not edible. probably also precooked, they land so private, the next day in the pan and no longer all on the dish. that... Both the service and the diners are right here, good-bourgeois cuisine at the normal price. highly recommended!
For years we regularly go to the German heinrich. whether with family, friends or celebrate of work. we were finally there with 16 people to save. We were already admitted before that the kitchen should have been very relaxed.Leider was not just the kitchen. you could only order from the menu card and therefore had to take suppe beforehand and a dessert. is not in itself, only one is very bound. the lukewarm suppe came quite flott. after that we had to wait 45 minutes for the food. the spatula was fifty and not cooked by. he was almost raw. the scavengers have not tasted after anything and were not crispy. the conditions very slow. we had to ask to order drinks again. After all, one apologised for the austerity and granted a discount. In the meantime, the heinrich is no longer what he was. seemingly the cook changed. but also the service can carry a post-currence. ach yes, sparing with carvings and kartoffels for 29,80€ is already salted!
The German heinrich in Gifhorn-Wilsche is one of the few restaurants in the region where you can get German cuisine suitable for the season. the foods are all very tasty and plentiful. the price is also good.
We were a family dinner with 10 people in the German heinrich, have been loyal fans for many years.Leider was this time a real one, we have never seen anything like that.Sundays there are always menus with appetizer, main dish and dessert. U.a. we had 4x psteak. the meat was quite small that would not even go through as a ladysteak in the steakhouse. all meat has been fried together and with the same time, due to different thickness it was then from medium rare to through. 3 quite small röstis and a small salat. together with the suppe and the bought dessert for 29,- Euro.....we are very excited for a farm. Unfortunately, the others were also only on average. What is more, unfortunately, the fact that the service seemed rather lustless. Also, dear team from the German heinrich, give again gas so that you can connect to old times. we will give you some months before we come back.
As a radler on the Aller cycle path, the durst has led us to this locally. the service has also supplied us very quickly and nicely with cool drinks after they had offered us the Biertische, the places in front of the house or on the terrace. we then also ate something else: curry sausage, Mediterranean mother pan. all delicious, with a good price-performance ratio. this return will remain in good memory!
